About our subscription
How does it work?
On the 1st of every month, we reveal six amazing picks, three hardbacks and three paperbacks we think you’ll love. Have a nosy and see which one calls your name. By the 7th, you’ll lock in your choice, get billed on the 8th, and we’ll get busy sending your book straight to you. When it lands on your doorstep, all that’s left is to clear your calendar and dive into your next favourite read.
What's included in my subscription?
Every subscription comes beautifully gift-wrapped and includes a bookmark and a handwritten note. You’ll also receive exclusive author extras (depending on the book selection), access to our private Substack with bonus content, author Q&As and interviews, downloadable book-club packs, and 10% off everything in our bookshop. Can I pause, change or cancel my subscription?
Yes! If you’d like to switch between hardback and paperback for a month (or vice versa), you can do this when selecting your book via your account page. You can also pause, skip a month or cancel anytime through your account dashboard.
Shipping FAQs
Do you offer free shipping?
All subscriptions include free Royal Mail 48-hour Tracked delivery. Our bookshop offers free shipping on orders over £50.
When will my box ship?
We aim to ship before the 14th of each month. You’ll receive tracking details as soon as your box is on its way.
Do you ship internationally?
We do not currently ship internationally.
What if my box doesn’t arrive or is damaged?
If your box hasn’t arrived within 10 business days of shipment, or if it arrives damaged or missing an item, please get in touch within 7 days and we’ll make it right.
Community & Extras
How do I access the subscriber benefits?
After your first box arrives, you'll be added to our Substack where you'll have access to author Q&As and interviews, book news and links to our book club packs. A personalised 10% off code for our bookshop will be sent to you via email after you subscribe.
Do I have to join the discussions?
Not al all! At Well Read Women, we know every reader is different. You can choose what extras you'd like to use.
