Well Read Women is a U.K based book subscription service and online bookshop championing women’s voices, one story at a time.

At Well Read Women, we have one mission: to deliver books that truly earn a place on your shelf. Our small team is made up of dedicated, passionate bookworms who sift through the buzziest new releases, uncover hidden gems, and champion new and emerging voices in fiction with a mission to bring the very best books straight to your doorstep.

    How it works:

    On the 1st we announce our six selections for the month. Have a nosy & see which one is calling your name.

    By the 7th, log into your account and select the book of your choice.

    On the 8th, you will be billed then we get straight to work getting your subscription to you ASAP!

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What's included in my subscription?

    Every subscription comes beautifully gift-wrapped and includes a bookmark and a handwritten note. All subscribers get an exclusive 15% discount code for everything in our online bookshop. We’re also over on Substack where subscribers get access to extra articles such as Q&As, interviews and more coming soon.

    Can I pause, change or cancel my subscription?

    Yes! If you’d like to switch between hardback and paperback for a month (or vice versa), you can do this when selecting your book via your account page. You can also pause, skip a month or cancel anytime through your account dashboard.

    Do you offer free shipping?

    All of our subscriptions come with free Royal Mail's 48hr Tracked postage. Orders over £50 also receive free shipping.

    Do you ship internationally?

    We do not currently ship internationally. We also do not accept orders from postal forwarding services that ship outside of the U.K.

    What if my box doesn’t arrive or is damaged?

    If your box hasn’t arrived within 10 business days of shipment, or if it arrives damaged or missing an item, please get in touch as soon as possible.
